Join us for a special day of strengthening intergenerational bonds and creating meaningful memories with the wise community elders that enrich our student's lives.

9:45 - Arrival at preferred campus for tea service

10:00-11:00am - Tea Party & Presentations at Children’s House and Elementary Campus

Please arrive at your student’s respective campus for a late morning tea ceremony highlighting some of the key Montessori concepts that our students are learning to master: acts of service, care for our environment, grace & courtesy, and respect for our elders.

11:00am-1:00pm* - Reception at MoonMountain Highway

You will enjoy a wonderful student-curated art show and reception in the MoonMountain Highway studio. Refreshments provided by Native Provisions.

*The exhibit will remain open until 5:00pm for family, friends, and community members who would like to come see the student’s work.

Little Oak’s graduation ceremony will be held at the Mt. View Grange in White Salmon from 11-11:45AM. All families are welcome to attend.

Following the ceremony, the entire school is invited to Rhinegarten Park for an end of year picnic!

Don’t miss this special opportunity to dress up in your finest, fiercest or most fantastical ensemble while rallying together to raise funds for a worthy cause. The Little Oak gala is a night for our community to connect, celebrate our growth, and gather support for a robust scholarship program.

We invite you to our third and final workshop in the 2024 Practical Parenting Series, lead by Kim Lubin, LCSW.

Kim Lubin is a Licensed Clinical Social worker, as well as a certified school counselor. She has worked with diverse school districts in many parts of the country - most recently here in Oregon and Washington. Kim has also provided therapeutic support to children and teen students in the Washington state public school system from 2000-2016. During her tenure, she served in leadership capacities on both the building and district levels. She has also been nominated for the American School Counselor Association Counselor of the Year Award. Nationally, she has trained teachers and administrators in how to effectively support at- risk teens, and the impact of trauma on academic performance. She has led the implementation of drop-out prevention programs at the middle and high school levels. She is experienced in standards based, data driven decision making.

We continue our 2024 Practical Parenting Series with our second workshop, diving into sensory patterns with Heather McClure.

Heather McClure MOT, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Little Mountain Occupational Therapy, LLC in White Salmon, WA. She has been practicing OT for 16 years in multiple settings (mental health, physical rehabilitation, Early Intervention, schools) and pediatric clinics in the gorge.
